Nothing beats a successful flight in which you barely make it away with your “virtual” life in the palm of your hands. This moment is one I’m glad I was able to capture as it really does a good job showcasing the survivability of the A-10C Warthog. Though not every mission is successful, they provide their share of learning opportunities and help train you to become a better pilot.
Some cherish the fun and others fly for the pure realism. Our squadron aims to thread the needle in that sweet spot right in the middle, so we have our times of pure nonsense as well as our serious mil-sim (military simulation) moments.
